Birthday Books!

gift-books.jpg
Do you want to help build your Library’s Collection? Well, the Birthday Book Program is a great way!  Students love to check out books other students bought. You simply choose a book title from the Birthday Wish List and buy a HARDCOVER book. Bring this book to the library no later than Wednesday, so the librarian can process the book and place a Book Plate inside the cover.  This book plate states the child’s name and birthday date.  Friday, your child will be recognized and the book title read during the Friday Flag Salute.

CLASSROOM CELEBRATIONS MUST FOLLOW HEALTHY FOOD
GUIDELINES

TVUSD has responded to the Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization Act of 2004. This legislation requires school districts receiving federal funding for child nutrition programs to establish Local School Wellness Policies by the beginning of the 2008-09 school year.  Click here to get information on our district’s food regulations and guidelines.
